Are You Ready To Get Rid of That Tree?
Trees are the most valuable, important part of any landscape. They provide us with breathable air, shade on hot days, and shelter from weather events! However, sometimes there may be a tree in your landscape that has to be removed. Depending on the size of the tree, this could be something you or a member of your family can handle. More often than not, you will end up needing to hire someone to come remove it.
Lucky for you the professionals at Advanced Tree & Shrub Care Inc. have endless amounts of training and experience in removing unwanted trees!
Although most people end up removing trees for superficial reasons, there are other reasons why trees may need to be taken down.
Here are a few reasons a tree in your backyard may need to go:
- The tree is “sick” or damaged in some way. Trees are susceptible to illness just like humans! There are a variety of diseases, pests, or other factors that play into a tree no longer being healthy or low vigor. Unhealthy trees are often an risk, and if there is no way to cure the tree, removal is necessary. Trees can also face damage that leaves them unable to grow or live any longer. They can be damaged by storms, animals, or unintentionally by humans.
- There are too many trees! Sometimes too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing. Too many trees in your backyard could cause a number of issues. If you have a pool, for example, too many leaves or pests from the trees may be dirtying up your pool. Having too many trees could also obscure the sun from your yard. Although having a shady spot is nice, sunlight is a welcomed guest too.
- You’d like to plant other types of trees. Perhaps your yard is covered in pine trees, but you’d prefer to have apple trees in place of them. Removing old trees to add new ones could revamp your whole outdoor space! Sometimes when people remove trees it is just a matter of personal taste.
Always remember to be conscious of how many trees you take down. Keep in mind that trees are a huge part of natural ecosystems. Try to plant another tree in place of the one you remove!
